IBERFAR, INDÚSTRIA FARMACÊUTICA, S.A., is the main company of a privately-owned Portuguese pharmaceutical group founded in 1924. With a century of experience, we specialize in every aspect of the pharmaceutical industry. Our core business is contract manufacturing for solid and non sterile liquid forms.
At IBERFAR, we take pride in delivering top-quality products with short delivery times while offering the flexibility to meet the unique needs of each client. As a dedicated pharmaceutical contract manufacturer, we operate a state-of-the-art EU cGMP manufacturing site conveniently located near Lisbon, just 20 minutes from major logistic access points.

The Group
Agrovete started its activity in 1962, becoming over the years a reference in the marketing and installation of agricultural equipment. Its longevity has allowed Agrovete to acquire extensive experience in the agricultural and livestock sector.
Since its founding, it has been associated with various innovations. In 2010, Agrovete merged with Proselecte and Sulsem, strengthening its position in the seed sector.
Today, Agrovete operates in the production and marketing of certified seeds:
– Production and marketing of certified seeds;
– Installation and marketing of agricultural equipment.
FERRAZ, LYNCE, S.A. focuses on fostering collaborations with international research firms, prioritizing partnerships in product licensing, manufacturing, and distribution.
The company specializes in prescription products, over-the-counter (OTC) products, and health care solutions. By producing and promoting effective and safe medicines, FERRAZ, LYNCE, S.A. aims to improve patient quality of life and ensure high satisfaction for partners and customers.
FAI THERAPEUTICS, a new branch of IBERFAR, specializes in medical cannabis by leveraging the expertise of Agrovete, IBERFAR, and Ferraz Lynce. Their fully verticalized process covers every stage from cultivation and extraction to production and distribution, ensuring the highest quality and safety.
Focused on providing effective cannabis-based therapies, FAI Therapeutics combines proven pharmaceutical expertise with the latest scientific advancements to uphold rigorous safety and quality standards.
